Further site wins have taken the APP user base for ASB to 86 sites. The addition of a package of document templates and web toolkits for incident reporting and data sharing allows sites to implement business improvement and take their use of APP to a new level. Recent examples: Newport City Council are adding a searchable ‘risk’ register for staff safety and also equipping vehicles with cameras linking to APP forms ‘on the move’; and Wigan Council work with their local Police Authority linking CCTV clips to APP records, saving some £90,000 in resource time.
Case Study: Tristar Homes
 With more than 600 ASB cases each year, Tristar Homes uses Civica’s anti-social behaviour (ASB) software to record, monitor and tackle all ASB incidents in the borough and has recently secured a two-star rating from the Audit Commission for meeting service level targets.

…at the Royal Town Planning Institute’s Annual Convention. Civica Performance Planning brings together the market and technology expertise of the Service Delivery Solutions and Public Protection business units in an integrated “end-to-end” solution. Combining data capture, integrated workflow and case management with online self-service capabilities for citizens, the solution enables Local Planning Authorities to provide responsive services to meet the complex demands of local and national priorities. The system provides a stronger platform for Civica to build on its experience with customers such as Sunderland and Colchester.

 We are delighted to announce the appointment of Craig Round who joins us from Wigan Council where he held responsibility for the APP system and also G.I.S, Address management(LLPG), communications, freedom of information, graphic design and web content management. Craig will be known to many from his contribution to previous user group AGM sessions and will be assisting in the product management of the APP web toolkit portfolio. |

Working with people at all levels in an authority- I have found Anti-Social Behaviour systems particularly interesting.
What is your favourite city?
Sydney. I was lucky enough to be there for the millennium celebrations (in my hairy backpacker days!) and it was amazing. |

Extended Services |
Tight budgets and dwindling resources can make it difficult for system administrators to keep up with new functionality and regular tasks such as records maintenance. Recognising this, Civica has created a new "product" which provides additional support days on a regular basis – either one day per month or one every other month – provided by qualified Civica support staff.
